Troy Bisby was elected Mayor in 2005 after serving three years as Alderman. While Alderman, he served as the Chairman for the Youth Development Committee/Drug Task Force and was on the Internal Affairs Commmittee and the Tullahoma Planning Commission. He represented the Board on the Consolidated Communications Commission.

Troy is a senior engineer with ARES Corporation. He was formerly employed by ATK-GASL as a Senior Program Manager. He also served as Chief Systems Engineer for the development of NASA's new X-43C Hypersonic Aircraft. He also directed and managed the integration, assembly and testing of NASA's Hyper-X Research Vehicle, which recently flew nearly ten times the speed of sound and, in doing so, broke the world speed record for an air-breathing aircraft. He has held a wide variety of leadership positions during his 20-year career, including program and resource management, engineering supervision, and marketing. Mr. Bisby also started and ran a small engineering consulting business where he developed custom electronic designs for the medical industry.

Troy enjoys being active in the community. He served as Cub Master of Cub Scout Pack 142 for three years, and coached youth Soccer, T-Ball, and Church League basketball. He is an active member of the Tullahoma Kiwanis Club and actively supports the Mayor's Youth Council.

Bisby holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Tennessee Technological University and has completed graduate courses at the University of Tennessee Space Institute. He has authored and presented several professional papers for the Instrumentation Society of America and the Joint Army-Navy-NASA-Air Force Interagency Propulsion Committee. He has been recognized by the Air Force and NASA on several occasions for his contributions.

He and his wife Diane have two boys, Alan and Eric.

Sandy Lindeman was elected to the Tullahoma board of Mayor and Aldermen in 2006. She represents the City as Chairman of the Youth Development Committee and Tree Board and chairs the Internal Affairs Committee. She previously served on the Tullahoma Board of Education .

Lindeman has served on the Coffee County Literacy Council board, the Keep Coffee County Beautiful Board, and is a member of the Tullahoma Chamber of Commerce. She is a former Chairman of the Planning Commission. In addition, she owned and operated a successful local newspaper for five years.

After making what was intended to be a temporary move here from Southern California in 1973, Sandy and husband Bob fell in love with Tullahoma and decided to stay and raise their two daughters here. Sandy immediately became active in the community, volunteering for Bel-Aire Elementary School’s reading program and chairing its fundraiser.

Sandy was instrumental in the “Vision 2000” fundraising effort that resulted in a beautiful new Senior Citizens Center in Tullahoma. She currently is working on “Vision 2006” to raise funds for a much-needed addition to this popular Center.

She has been a Girl Scout leader, and was Camp director for three years. She has also been a member and raised funds for the Tullahoma Fine Arts Center, the Hands-on Science Center, and South Jackson Community Playhouse.

Sandy is a 30-year member of the General Federation of Woman’s Clubs, and currently serves as the Recording Secretary for the state organization. She has been President of all three Tullahoma GFWC Clubs, and has served on various departments and on the Executive Board for the GFWC of Tennessee.

She and Bob have two daughters, Dawn Durm and Stacy Lynch. Dawn and husband Troy have three children, Ashley, Justin and Erica, and reside in Lynchburg. Stacy and husband Daniel have a daughter, Abigail, and live in Tullahoma.

James D. Eads was elected to the Tullahoma Board of Mayor and Aldermen in 2007. He serves this session on the Policy Committee and also as the Mayor’s representative to the Tullahoma Planning Commission.

 James is a Tennessee native and graduated from Putnam County Senior High School in Cookeville, TN. He studied electronics at the State Area Vocational Technical School in Livingston, TN before going to work in his

family’s business, Computer Service of Tennessee.  In 1991 he transferred to Manchester, Tennessee with Nashville-based Data Processing Equipment Corporation. Having relocated to Tullahoma in 1995, James started his own company, Parity Hardware Services here in 2003. Parity specializes in on-site computer hardware maintenance including laser, thermal, and other printing technologies.

 James holds numerous certifications from such notable vendors as Hewlett Packard, Lexmark and Toshiba as well as a CompTIA A+ certification in Personal Computers. In addition, James has experience in IBM and Honeywell mainframe systems operations, HVAC installation, retail and internet sales, and was certified by Tecumseh as a small engine mechanic at the age of 14.

 The Eads family built and opened Eads Coin Laundry on Carroll Street in 2005. His parents continue to operate the laundry as James liquidated his interest in the business in order to devote his time and energy to the office of Alderman.

 James and his wife Nancy have four children. Their youngest, Jessica, is a 2007 graduate of Tullahoma High School this year and is enrolled at the University of Memphis. James is a member of Grace Baptist Church in Tullahoma, where he is a regular soloist in the Celebration Choir.  He has served as Chairman of the Building and Grounds Committee, and he and Nancy co-chaired the Furnishing and Fixtures Committee for a recent $2.6 Million expansion project.

Michael Norris was elected to the Board of Mayor and Alderman in 2007. He serves as the Board’s representative to the Tullahoma City School Board, Tullahoma Airport Authority, and the Policy Committee.

 Mr. Norris has been employed in the financial services industry for over 27 years.  Mike worked fifteen years for PNC Financial, in Louisville, KY as Senior Vice President of mortgage administration, managing 250 employees and a mortgage portfolio of over$50 billion.

After leaving PNC in 1993, Mike joined Trans Financial Bank and formed the Trans Financial Mortgage Company located in Tullahoma TN serving as President. Trans Financial Mortgage originated over $2 billion of mortgages a year and serviced a mortgage portfolio over $20 billion.

 Mr. Norris has recently retired from US Bank as an Executive Vice President and Chairman of the Board of a wholly owned subsidiary, The Leader Mortgage Company in Cleveland OH.  His most recent responsibilities included working with State and Local Housing Authorities to provide mortgage financing to low to moderate income families.

 Norris was born in Louisville KY and graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School 32nd in a class of 375 students. Mike holds a BS from Western Kentucky University in Business Administration with an area of concentration in management.

 Mike resides with his wife, Judy, and  his daughter, Sarah,  here in Tullahoma. His son, Jeff, is currently attending Tennessee Technology University in Cookeville.

Jonathan James was elected to the Tullahoma Board of Mayor and Aldermen in 2006. He currently represents the Board on the Tullahoma Utilities Board and serves on the Internal Affairs Committee. He has previously served on the Planning Commission, Policy Committee, and Airport Authority.

Upon his 2005 retirement from the USAF as a Lieutenant Colonel, he and his wife Dawn wanted to relocate in Tennessee. Finding Tullahoma, they loved it and chose it to be home.

The son of U.S. missionaries, Jonathan was born in Japan. He returned to the United States as a young adult and located in Chattanooga, TN, where he met and married Dawn. He enlisted in the Army in 1984, prior to becoming an Air Force officer. His Air Force experience included operations, testing, political-military affairs, command and control, and information operations.

James holds a BA from Tennessee Temple University and a MS in administration from Central Michigan University. He has done additional course work in business law, economics, tax and accounting. His military training includes Air War College, Armed Forces Staff College, and Air Command and Staff College. James was also a distinguished graduate of both Squadron Officer School and Officer Training School. James co-authored an award-winning article on “The Future Employment of UAV’s,” which was published in the Joint Force Quarterly, Summer 1999, Volume 22.

Though military life has required they move many times over the years, the Jameses have always been active in the local community and church. They have also served as foster parents and Jonathan is a lifetime member of DAV (Disabled American Veterans). They belong to Grace Baptist Church in Tullahoma where they are involved in the music ministry.
