The
City of Tullahoma is governed by a Board of Mayor and Aldermen.
The Board has seven members, including the mayor. All are
elected to three-year terms on a staggered basis.
The board members serve the city at-large.
The Board of Mayor and Aldermen set policy for the
city government, appoint committee and board members, approve
an annual budget, enact laws and ordinances, enter into contracts,
and set public hearings.
The
Board of Mayor and Aldermen holds meetings on the second and
fourth Monday of each month, at 5:30 p.m.. local time,
at City Hall in the second floor board chambers.
The meetings are televised live on Channel 6.
The Board may set special call meetings upon legal
notice. All board
meetings have a public comment period for citizens to bring
any issue affecting the city before the board.

attend the meeting should call 455-2648 prior to the meeting.

Youth Council
Each school year members of the Mayor's Youth Council
devote time to learning about City government and performing
community service work. The Council meets each month during
the school year and is open to all high school students.
