Animal Control Division The animal control division of the Public Works Department maintains the city animal shelter and is responsible for enforcing the animal control laws within the City. This division strives to reunite lost dogs with their owners and to place unclaimed dogs into good homes.

To report a stray or for information on adoption, call Animal Control at 454-9580 M-F from 7:30am-4:30pm. After hours or on weekends please leave a message.

The City Shelter Has Many Dogs Who Need Families

The Tullahoma Animal Shelter always has a great variety of dogs to choose from for adoption.

The $10.00 adoption fee is minimal when compared to the years of joy a pet can offer your family. State law also requires a $25.00 deposit, refundable upon proof that the adopted pet has been neutered or spayed.

The Animal Control Division with the help of volunteers, hold "Adopt-a-Dog" outings at the Tullahoma Wal-Mart the first Saturday of each month from 10 am to 2 pm.
